power problem

hi all, got a bit of a problem with my aa400 its pre anti tamper so has the screw at the side however to get it set on full power the screw is really really loose would it matter if i just took it out completely? or would this cause damage to gun somehow? im thinking little washers if not but have no idea where to get such tiny things!? any help much appreciated cheers tom

Why not just use a bit of loctite on the threads mate, it won't budge then, and if you ever want to adjust it for some reason, just heat it up, hope this helps.

thanks mate ive just found out its a dust screw lol idiot the actual adjuster is a grub screw underneath it! right im off to play hopefully get it back up to power!!

be careful on that grub screw it will take it right up buddy

i put a bit of nail varnish on the grub screw under the dust screw matey that way i know when cleaning the gun that it aint moved buddy the one under the dust screw just for your mind thats all you can always check it then buddy

cheers shay just got set it under 12 anymore and it'll not only be illegal im guessing it will damage the gun too? was putting out 9lb before looking forward to taking her out tommorrow! should have increased range by a noticably amount!

right bit strange was fiddling with the screw it seemed go up in power when turned anti clockwise as expected but then once it reached a certain point went down again? not dramatically but a bit? this wasnt at 15 or anything either it was 11.5 im happy as it is just wondered why it does that?
