how much would you pay

I am in talks with somone at the moment to design a tracking device for dogs. we are in the final stages of developement of it. the battery lasts a life time.

 

How much would you lot pay a one off price to get your dog chipped with a tracker.? this applies to any dog not just lurchers

i think its an exellent idea mate,and very cheep for peace of mind,only thing that would concern me is that if some c**ts capable of nicking my dog,the same said scumbag would prob not have any qualms

If this is geuine, i wish you the best of luck in getting it up and running, and you will take early retirement in less than one year as a millionair. I doubt it though, battery being the problem. The

I cant realy say at this moment. all i can say is the battery charges with movement no collers or anything like that. It wont be that much either im thinking of around £100 and its gprs mate

For 100 quid, at the security of being able to find my dog if lost/stolen etc i would pay it. I collar could be taken off, an implant is there for life. Good idea.

how big will the implant, or device be? Think about the falconry market they are gagging for something like this if its light enough. Plus the wildlife tracking etc if you have the right product. Whats the range etc

if its what i am hoping i wouldn't just buy one i would invest some cash in your company

I shold no a little bit more by the end of the week so will keep you all poated.

 

The chip will be the size of a Id chip that we have now may be a touch bigger, im trying to get the tracker to be able to go to your phone. Also im trying to get a few designs, six month ones and just things like that

i think its an exellent idea mate,and very cheep for peace of mind,only thing that would concern me is that if some c**ts capable of nicking my dog,the same said scumbag would prob not have any qualms about cutting the chip out of the dog,im sure this has been done with the current chips people are using now,is there going to be a way round this happening,would the chip be picked up with a scanner,or only gps,could the chip be felt if you ran your hands over the dog,sorry for my complete lack of knowledge on this thats why im asking,but as said very good idea and wish you every success with it atvb rob

great idea mate but as watchman says i know people who have had there dog stolen and when they got there dog back the id chip as gone the dog thief's used break into vets years ago to steal there scanners but now you can buy the scanners on the net cheap good luck with your idea anyway mate think you could be onto a winner there atb mate..thumbs.gif ..john
