How much would you lot pay a one off price to get your dog chipped with a tracker.? this applies to any dog not just lurchers Edited January 31, 2010 by sh

littletimmy 71
I cant realy say at this moment. all i can say is the battery charges with movement no callers or anything like that. It wont be that much either im thinking of around £100 and its gprs mate For 100 quid, at the security of being able to find my dog if lost/stolen etc i would pay it. I collar could be taken off, an implant is there for life. Good idea.

Ratreeper 441
how big will the implant, or device be? Think about the falconry market they are gagging for something like this if its light enough. Plus the wildlife tracking etc if you have the right product. Whats the range etc if its what i am hoping i wouldn't just buy one i would invest some cash in your company

watchman 256
i think its an exellent idea mate, and very cheep for peace of mind, only thing that would concern me is that if some c**ts capable of nicking my dog,the same said scumbag would prob not have any qualms about cutting the chip out of the dog,im sure this has been done with the current chips people are using now,is there going to be a way round this happening, would the chip be picked up with a scanner,or only gps, could the chip be felt if you ran your hands over the dog, sorry for my complete lack of knowledge on this thats why im asking, but as said very good idea and wish you every success with it atvb rob
