albert64 1,882
as watchman says they are fast and have great stamina but they seem to be injury prone my mate has one at the moment does every thing single handed but seems to always have swollen wrists/toes and if it looks at barbed wire it needs stitches probably because they have tremendous drive Quote Link to post
chuck 4
Thanks for that albert. How does it fair on a hard nights lamping?(large numbers of rabbits) Quote Link to post

the fezz 44
3\4whippet 1\4 grey , very fast bitch very easy to work but not the brightest of dogs but does fill the bag for me , as for big nights i would say every dog is different as my bitch now would not do a big night but the bitch i had years ago (the same x) would have no prob , shes not bothered by the cold and does not shiver when shes out on a cold ferreting trip , and so far not torn to much , but the old bitch was covered in scares she tore very easy , she would hunt all day long not stop but the bitch i have now will only hunt up for a bit tends to just use here eyes and run on ahead to see what she can put up. atb Fezz Quote Link to post

albert64 1,882
Thanks for that albert. How does it fair on a hard nights lamping?(large numbers of rabbits) dont know mate he's not into lamping or ferreting just daytime and it does its job very well, it was originally bought as a rabbit dog but for what ever reason my mate ended up it dont think you'll have any problem using one on the lamp but some of them open up Quote Link to post
