Endgame 68
i had the brother chocko diffrent dog all together and through diffrent, and put him to apowerful bitch who produced strong pups , never saw many rockos pups but i can see him in her ,saw them both run and saw them tons of timei can se abit rocko in them got lots of pics of them etc over the years i can see abit rocko in her ITS NOT CHOCKO ITS CHUCK! CHUCKS BLACK/ & LIGHT TAN. HE IS ROCKOS BROTHER. i got it on dvd winning that match rocko U NEVER SEEN MANY ROCKO PUPS BECAUSE HE SHOWED LITTLE INTEREST IN BITCHES. I WAS THE ONLY ONE TO MANAGE 2 GET HIM 2 LINE A BITCH(TWICE). ROCKO WON THE CAMBRIDGE CUP/ CHUCK WON THE POACHERS TOURNAMENT THAT J, THOMPSON ,SNIPERS OWNER RAN. ROCKO HAD A FASTER STYLE THAN CHUCK WHO WAS MORE OF A FEN DOG & A STAYER. 1 Quote Link to post
whip x grey 276
nice bitch.s there,,,,,,,, nice breeding a dog that can do it all,,,,,what more do u want, ,,,,,just dont bring those dog,s to kirkcaldy club racing,,,,,,or i might not win, ,,,they look like they have the gears, ,,,and the endless stamia A DOG THAT CAN DO IT ALL? THANKS [bANNED TEXT] BUT I WOULDNT GO THAT FAR. & IM AFRAID YOUR CLASS OF HARDBLOOD WHIPPET WOULD BLOW MY DOGS AWAY. YOUR FAWN DOG BUDDY IS MY IDEA OF A HARDBLOOD WHIPPET. STUNNING LOOKING ANIMAL [bANNED TEXT]. trust me when it comes to speed ,,,hard bloods dont have it all there own way,,,,,when we raced at highland whippet derby,,,dingwall near inverness,,,,there was lurcher there that broke the track record,,,,,,plus 1988,89, 90, 91,,,,i raced at haliburton,,think was cooper angus area cant remeber excatly,,,,i won in 88 and reserve in 89,,91 cant remeber reserve again,,,,,,but when hard bloods went down south to champs,,,me and old man went lurcher racing intead with a 30lb fawn bitch out off P,J x booker t,,,,,and trust me ,,,,we got beat just as much by lurcher,s as we beat,,,,,,,lurcher can run aswell,,,,,,dont bring them down when it comes to speed ,,,,cause ive seen some cracker,s,,,,and there added bouns is they have more stamia,,,,making them,,,the better dog on the day my next breeding will be simailar to ur,s end game,, as iam thinking off taking a break from racing ,,,,when my dog,s are done but my youngest dog is 2/1/2 years,,,so it might be a good few years yet,,,but thats my plan,,,,but i have to wait till my dog,s retire or pass away 1st, Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
Like i have said its a pity this cross is not used more i think it maybe the though of putting a large saluki type dog to a small whippet/grey that puts a lot of people off breeding this cross so they go the beddy hybred route instead. YOU REALLY NEED TO GO TO THE LARGER/HEAVIER SIDE OF THE HARDBLOOD RACING TO DEAL WITH THE SIZE ISSUE IN MY MIND POACHER. MIND YOU IN SAYING THAT I BRED A 23inch HARDBLOOD WHIPPET BITCH WITH A SALUKI/GREYHOUND X BOUT 26inch & THERE WAS A 20inch BITCH IN LITTER./ Quote Link to post

kevin kiely 66
Wat is a good thing about this type of lurcher is even into old age they can still fill the pot even [bANNED TEXT] they have lost some of their speed. My ten year old bitch out of similar breeding never ceases to amaze me.atb dell id agree and prefer the racier dogs but would it be more prone to injury and more likely to be busted up by the time its ten Quote Link to post
