Cleanspade 3,322 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 very enjoyable thread this. you cant take away what the mans done. a proper thinking terrierman. he would make use of all work styles and valued them. especially shout out terriers and ten minute wonders. alongside the more acceptable working styles. he used his loaf. in my opinion it was as much about the mans skills than as it is about his terriers. although i think they are a far cry from what they was. my old parson had a few foxwarren terriers in his ped. and he was none the worse for that. foxwarren scrumpy is one. he is in one of his books at the bottom of a dig drawing a very good sized fox. my old russell jade has a few lines to foxwarren also and she was a very handy bolting bitch that i could shout out. dodger tango phsyco mick mental tango snowy2 sport2 sinbad6 thistle2. my guess is there are some very handy dogs out there that owe something to foxwarren lines. east essex also apears in these peds. Alli 923 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 it dont say much for the foxwarren strain anymore,i have never met the man but he sells books about working russells BUT dont work them.surely there is a mixed message there Youve" obiously not read his books,there are countless stories of his exploits as PROFESSIONAL,terrierman to several different hunts,hes done more than most put together on here.I"m dead against breeding terriers for anything but hard work,andmore against breeding for profit..But dont knock the man for not working terriers,he bin there and got the tee shirt. im not knocking the man for nothing mate.the facts speak for themselves.alot of people will go to him coz of his books and he was a hunt terrierman but he dont work them anymore.money ruined many a line,thats what im saying. what the fck would you no gold finch, the chalkie dog i sold you had his lines in him. too much for you. thats why hes in liverpool getting plenty digs. stick to birds.
