Bait back out again but nothing was happening for the next couple of hour's so we dicided to catch some LIVE BAIT and after half hour or so we had a handfull of BLEAK FISH ready, float fished this time with a single hook at about 6ft and after a little wait the pike started feeding,my pal had the first one only a JACK but its all goodfleetedit6.jpg

Then after that they just keppt on coming all on the live bait

ok, so before you all start laughing at this just take note and see for your self.

i was reading in the magazine "pike & preadators", where some crowd have been noting down moon phases when they have went pike fishing.

in their findings they came to the conclusion that at the time of the full moon it was the best time to be catching pike.

so there best feeding time is the full moon.

i have to say i have started to note the moon phases now myself (just for couriousity) and my best time has been around the same time, the full moon !!!!

i no you are probably pissing your sides by now, but take note yourself's and see how it fairs out.
