Recommended Posts

Hi wk. Don't get yourself riled up. Just my opinion and preference at this time. Lots of terriers work in different ways. It would take far to long to explain everything about terriers to you. Not getting into a dick measuring contest. Ta

Well, after much searching I've finally got a Sealyham terrier pup I'm happy with. It's took me over 2,years but eventually got there. The reason there's not many about I reckon is because proper blok

I've never met a genuine guy that was selling dogs to strangers. Have you met proper guys selling to strangers???   The guys I know don't sell and don't have strangers in their yards.

What makes more clever than all other types, it was you that said it?

Didn't you know that dogs with average intelligence can understand around 165 words a bit like dog IQ. Fells and Lakies fall Into this category. Then White Russell and Sealyham types along with Border Collies and German Shepards have a higher level of understanding in the region of 195 - 205.

Then Black Patterdales types and Plummer types are down the spectrum of understanding around the 105 - 115 level. A bit dumb really!

I thought everyone knew that?

Your being generous at 105 - 115 for the Patterdales.................LOL

Would have thought 4-5.......fight, eat, kill.......SOLD

Only saw a couple work me self, the one's I saw were Russell cross, one originated in North Wales, was keen but not great for digging, some foxes okay nothing special, great to hunt and fight, this was more Russell or white lakey as the call it. The other one I saw was from somewhere else, a big smooth dog, sealham b, Russell, knew his work, and no gimmick

Saw a few sealyhamxrussells work and they were as good as any other breed, maybe a little on the big size for some earths but when they got there they done the buisness.I was also gifted 1 from a lad after my own terriers were stolen. He was an ugly b*****d,head on him like a turnip and real long in the back with little stumpy legs, but what a terrier to work, few of here seen him and would have to agree he done the buisness. There is a chap that lives about half hour from me that to my knowledge still has a couple of the same breeding. They were bred between a few lads,Cork,Wexford and the lad that lives up my way, though he mainly ran them on for the other lads, but as said i seen some real good working dogs of that mix.
