he is the biggest whippet cross ive seen or heard of. he was the heavyest in the litter and has took to the wheaten a lot...litter wastage really... but i like a strong dog. stormyboy the look in his eyes just about sums him up :clapper:post-2078-126485400157_thumb.jpg

he is made for producing threequarter crosses. as a lot of this litter where quite racy. be interesting to see others of this breeding

under all that coat is a very tidy dog,I'd have a three quarter cross off that myself, how big at the shoulder is it?

twenty three to the shoulder

here is a pic after a haircut

the best lurcher ive ever had was a wheaton grey, a really game fast obidient bitch, but i could imagine a wheaton whipet to be a bit of a yapper exept for that a briliant dog, if its a whippet x your after imo your better off with beddy in the mix

Gripper

A yapper? I thought wheatons are bred to be mute,

I had a wheaton grey and i never heard him bark.

I already have the wheaton X the only way to get beddy in there now is to feed him one :tongue2:

my dog has the same dam as cleanspades "ozzy" but was put a 1st cross wheaten/grey. 23"tts but alot lighter than "ozzy" at around 20kg, he's no slouch and is not afraid to get stuck in! im sure ive bored most people to death with the same old pics of him so just look at my previous post if you wanna see him :icon_redface:

cheers, matt

I know what you mean about the look in his eyes! Had a 22 1/2" bitch a few years ago-game as they come. I remember having to choke her off a 25" greyhound that made the mistake of fronting up to her. She didnt look for a fight but would finish one when challenged. Hold like a bulldog!

Pencil me in for a pup if ozzie ever goes over a whippet.

Bit of an update!! Jack is about 4 or 5 months now, retrieves to hand and is generally a pleasure to be around.

He is a little fat fecker at the minute

He seems to have a good nose and will hopefully fulfill his role wellpost-5953-127170674356_thumb.jpgpost-5953-127170675196_thumb.jpgpost-5953-127170676068_thumb.jpg
