Hob!

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me out. At the moment i'm down to working one ferret (shes a cracker tho!) and have a lot of land very close to me (and hence a lot of work). I'm looking for another ferret, preferrably a small/medium sized hob as i intend to breed from my current jill this year to replenish the team! Any colour apart from silver as i have heard that breeding two silvers together can result in problems. The ferret must be well handled and healthy and no biter as i cannot stand ferrets that are a pain in the arse to work with.

I would also happily consider a jill - again only if well handled and healthy / no biter as i am really unhappy about keeping my girl on her own at the moment.

Failing this i'll be looking about for the loan of a hob to serve her when the time comes?

I hope someone can help! I'm in South Wales but willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the country and pay good money for the right ferret!

Thanks for reading and atb,

YIS Jai.

Hey!

Not sure but i've heard from a few people that it can lead to genetic problems - there was a topic on here which was about breeding bew x bew and the silver thing came up on there (i seem to remember).

Yer may well give you a shout about the hob if i have no luck finding one.

If your near Bristol you should come down for a days ferreting sometime!
