davyt63 1,845
What is the average price per gun mate and how do i go about it ? Luke. hi luke i would say betwenn £20 & £40 ,depends on if you want 48hr and insurance. the last time i sent one i payed £45 i tink 48hr & insurance! its a must! get ya self a cardboard box,go to local gun shop and see if they got any kicking around! wrap it up with the destanation on it take it to poat office, they weigh it.and then they will ask you the cost of the item your sending and would you like it insured! to which you say yes please! will say though you have to be 18 or over me tinks! regards davy Edited January 28, 2010 by davyt63 Quote Link to post
Ultra Hunter 0
Really you want royal mail special delivery (rmsd). It costs around £20 but is the only reliable way to mail airguns. Quote Link to post

maty j 6
Just keep quiet about what It Is. RM are supposed to accept them as one PO worker did... The guy posting It told the woman It was a air rifle and she had no problem. Next thing the guy knew the cops had It for testing and were kicking up a fuss over the silencer fitted. I just send them RMSD and insured up to whatever value, If they ask I tell them It's sporting goods. Quote Link to post
