longnetter 32
Got a question here lads (before a punchup starts ) If hemp is as someone says the devils twine and I've also seen it described as farmers twine can someone please tell me why so many people buy and use and insist on nothing else but hemp purse nets ATB

Hemp has had it's place in net design but net making has now moved into the 21st century with new materials being developed all the time but i suppose there will always be the so called "purists" that refuse to even entertain the fact that superior materials exist. FightTheBan 1,147
Hemp nets are a joy to work with, but i only got 6 hard seasons out a my last batch of 20, and i tried to dry them after each use. Now i would always go for spun nylon/heavy nylon. Some people are traditionalists and are adverse to change, probably the same people who say mk3 are shite.
