stormyboy 1,352
first x bedlington greyhound for me, if i had the time i would like to use a dog out of that cross then crossed back to a bitch out of a greyhound bedlington first cross , you would then have a reverse cross has any body done this Surely that would be a lurcher x lurcher?? A reverse cross would be beddy x grey crossed back to pure beddy. Come to think of it,a reverse could be a useful cross if big enough. Edited January 27, 2010 by stormyboy Quote Link to post

poacher3161 1,766
For edible quary mine have been a mixture of grey/beddy to grey/collie and then back to a fast type saluki hybred these have been the best allround types i have owned far better than any first crosses or 3 quarter greyhound bred lurchers. In a nutshell you carnt beat lurcher to lurcher bred dogs IMHO. poacher3161 1,766
the best alround dogs ive ssaw ere collie type back to well bred saluki type very good allround dogs Totally agree whin after seeing and owning.Wat i carnt believe is my mate bred some recently out of his hancock bitch thats proved her self in the lamp to a saluki hybred out of the well known courseing dog wilkie after speaking to him last week he still has pups left at 5 an half month old if these had been first crosses or 3 quarter breds he would have probably found homes for them before now IMHO it boils down to the snobbery that people think lurcher to lurcher bred dogs are inferior to half crosses or lurcher just with two breeds in them Quote Link to post
