Purse net kits

ALRIGHTY THEN, I have successfully made one purse net using the materials a mate gave me, a couple of rings and some hemp like stuff thats not hemp..

I want to have ago at making a few more before i commit myself and buy a spool and loads of rings..

Can anyone suggest a kit supplier?

I'v seen a few but they are like £20-£25 quid, seems abit dear.

I only want to make 6 or 7 nets before i take the plunge and spend a few quids

the copy hemp you have used is probably FLAX

as for net making gear

you need to see a bloke called agouti

hes a top man and has every thing you need

not sure if hes on here but i no he is on RABBITERS.CO.UK

Hi Daveo type in AGOUTI-NETS.COM , agouti (nige)is doing a starters kit for £16 . 50 plus p+p enough for 15 / 3ft 6 inch nets and yes 8 shot he is on this site under, believe it or not as AGOUTI best regards Steve

To tell the truth Daveo you are going to have to buy a spool of whatever you choose suppliers don't usually sell it in less than a spool and probably 50 or 100yds of drawstring too but rings can be bought singly if you wanted just one the real killer is the postage by the time you've bought spool, drawstring and rings plus postage you're going to be paying the thick end of twenty quid anyway...I'd go for the kit if I was you and don't worry about this hemp vs flax business too many people buy and use this sttuff for it to be THAT bad

im affraid it will rot like hemp

 

you can dip them in cuprinal and that will make them last a bit longer

Iv ordered a kit off Agouti, Should be enought to make 15 spun poly nets...

Thats the most nets for the least money iv found. Most are 12 nets for about £23-£25 inc postage.
