After our ferretting sesh on Sat, I got a phone call from ST, " fancy lamping tonight?" Quick check with her indoors and gone at 8.00pm.

 

Second field, theres Charlie. Few squeaks and she's right in. Silvertip dropped her like a stone and woke most of Cornwall (was that really a silencer?)

Walked several more fields but all the rabs were deafened or indoors so only one real opportunity for a proper run but dog caught and retrieved OK. Thanks again mate. Do it again soon. Cheers, D.

I think next time i will leave that gun - loved watching the dog run, just wish there was more chances for him. have to do something else soon, gimmie a shout when you fancy it.

Nice fox so is the silvertip the style of bullet or the name for the gun,Ive not had my 2010 fox yet with my rifle yet wont be long and plenty to come.

i got it from using winchester silvertips , but it wasnt what i used that night.

cant wait to get out again.
