I'm even reluctant to go to poaching land that someone showed me without asking if it was ok. It's an unwritten law that you don't do that and everyone knows the score. Just cause you showed this clown your ground don't mean that its his permission now too. Don't let on to him that you know he has done it but have a conversation with him that the ground you took him on, the farmer was telling you he was having trouble with poachers, he's got their reg plate and has a crew ready for their return to see if the f****r owns up. Guest Daks
that just takes the piss!!! you wanna have a chat with the landowner to see if its ok too set a few traps, if its ok you'l know where majority of the gams sits, go and dig some steaks into the ground and run wire end to end see how clever the fuckers are after there dogs get snarled up in it screaming on and scaring everything for about 20 miles off!!! or do what i do and phone the farmer in the day asking if its ok to go out that night then if you dont phone he knows someones there that shouldnt be tell him to take his gun and shoot the dogs bet theyd stop then!!!! the farmer where i go will take the dogs off lads, shoot them and give them a kicking you'd have to be some boy to put this bloke down he is a monster!!! i only got permission as he asked me what my dog was like with sheep (as its a sheep farm!!) i took him out with me for a quick run and told him if my dog touches anything you can punch my face in, shoot my dog and il even pay you double what the sheep is worth here and now ok? we went out and the dog coursed around, over and through them not once did he go sniff, look, threaten the sheep, farmers reply "yep you got my permission, thats some dog you got there" job done Quote Link to post
