cometa300s 20
hello lads/lasses just a little question. when walking my dog what is best for her walking her on the lead and letting her off 5 mins for a run about before we head home or just to let her roam about for all the walk? there reason i ask this is for discipline reasons will this make her more obedient in the field or more prone to want to take the pi*s and run around like a loony. thanks atb liam Quote Link to post
adamb20 22
i let mine walk off lead as i like her to hunt up as theres not much out in the field during the day etc. when she lamping she doesnt come back as good as she used to i.e. straight back to my side but stands a few metres in front looking around the field until i tell her to come back. depends what sort of dog you have really. if you have a coursing dog i wouldnt to be honest. lewisbennett 0
i would say that you put it on the lead untile you feel safe to let it of so when you go hunting then when you go to put it on the lead it will not run away Quote Link to post
