I did my one over a weekend gundogbob, about six and a half hours per day, Sat & Sun.

did you stay away from home to do it is there eny chance you could tell me roughly what you have to do at the course

This is a home study course .

You apply and get sent the relevant material, and when you have learnt all of that . You get yourself to one of the test centres for the next stage .(taking the test )

You will have to do a considerable amount of study at home before you take the test (unless you know it all already and just want the test ? ). The two day course is just to brush up on the parts you may not be sure of and to take the written and shooting tests.

Did it in one day 0900 until 1600. Did my own research & studying, but it still cost 240 quid - 150 of which went to BASC !
