Nothing against 'the preacher', 'the shuffler', 'the fookin chimney sweeper' but has always been a bit gimmicky for me unless its a dog to be punted on ie a greyhound or,,,,. Or maybe that is the idea of the gimmicky names for a working terrier, to get you to part with some,,,, you do the maths.

 

ie: Youve heard the name but you dont know what colour the dog is, sounds like your sold :whistling:

As been sold i meant i was conned when buying a lurcher pup a few years ago.

 

I have never been offered a pup out of this dog, just interested as its a good nickname.

can,t reply to your pm mate ,but thought you could be gettin mixed up with the dealer dog ,and no i have never heard of the preacher
