lol i read the start of the post "white dog in the field no good" and was about to disagree but you beat me to it,,, had two white ones and never had a problem with them apart from hiding from farmers through the day and having to lie on the dog to hide it haha always thought white dogs looked well too

colour will have no bearing on how dog will work as far as i can see,i got a fawn bullx and he is easier to see at night which is obviously a downside and dosent blend into cover verywell during the day,i never herd anyone say white dogs are no good apart from these reasons.to me breeding is more important than clour! atvb

ive only ever seen 1 white dog graft it was ok but a bit of a piss take cos when you slipped it if it missed the rabbit it done laps around the field scareing everything in the b*****d lol

Colour has nothing to do with the working ability of a dog.

That would be like saying a red car would always be faster than a black car.

Think their was a stigma attached to white dogs back in the day when a lot of poaching was done because they where so easier to see. Saying that any time ive had or seen a white dog out lamping they have been good grafters.

An they've been just as hard to see as any other colour of dog unless they are ryt beside you. atb
