stubby 175
make sure your hide is upto scratch, and you have as little movement of yourself as possible, pidgeons can catch sight of movement a mile away, defo use a face veil and gloves, if you aint got a veil, try using the arm cut from a camo t shirt, does the trick picture of mate with t shirt veil... waidmann 105
give it a go with what you have bud, add the dead birds to the pattern,if you have no cradles then take some wire coathangers and cut them up to make supports for the heads( just push them through the mouth and into the ground). let us know how you get on. Airborne9 4
The birds will generaly land into wind mate. If you can, try and have the wind on your back, and set your deeks out in a horseshoe pattern going away from you, with the front of your horseshoe starting where your killing zone is, this way you will channel the birds straight in to you.youll be able to tell if they are comming in because they will set there wings, this will be obvious when you see it. Hope you have a good bag. Quote Link to post

waidmann 105
untill you get some deeks throw the pigeon( the ones that look a bit too full of lead) in the freezer and use those, you can take them out and re-freeze them a few times. decoy direct do a good flocked decoy with spring poles.it may be worth getting a bouncer/floater to add some movement to the pattern. good fun isn't it!?
