Guest Ditch_Shitter
Let me know what you think. I think it's telling that you've obviously been quietly and determinedly digging for days, and That's the best you can come up with! I also notice No Where on that site do they appear to mention what They feed their castratii on. I'd be fasinated to know what purveyor of greasy sacks of carcinogenic crap are sponsering them Quote Link to post
Fletcher 0
Its an interesting site right enough, I feed barf diet to my dogs without problems (so far). I've discussed it with my vet and an army vet from the Defence Animal Centre and they both approve of the diet as long as it balanced and varied in its content and prepared and stored hygienically. I'm yet to hear from anyone who can give a firsthand account of a dog thats been killed by feeding raw. Quote Link to post

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I haven't been digging for days. I ain't for or against the debate and if you don't believe me, that's your problem...... Quote Link to post
MATTI 34
It appear's to me that there is no happy medium on this subject, i say this as my wife is vegetarian and for one reason or another she tried a balanced veggie diet on her collie, while the dog looked no different physically his energy seemed to half within 3 month's. I kept the bulldog's and lurcher's on the diet they had been used to and they had twice the energy the collie had where as it was alway's the other way round the collie never stopped. We him put back on the same diet as the rest of the dog's and he was soon back to his old self. The wife is still veggie though, can't understand that she was born and bred on a farm, she agree's that this is a good diet for dog's, and we,ve tried a few. All the best. MATTI Quote Link to post
Guest JOEB
Sorry Nipper...not buying it mate...........just had a quick flick through what that bloke is writing and to be honest, if an uneducated bloke like me had the time, I could pull so many holes in it that it would look like a net curtain. God knows what someone who new there stuff would do to his theory. Each to there own JOEB Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
The guy who wrote that wee piece finding against the Raw Meat choice for feeding the dogs,.. has obviously never kept a working dog...Dangers ???? Feck me,...what could be more dangerous than running a fast moving canine after thousands of rabbits over a period of time,...in the semi-darkness I've lost plenty of work dogs,...the likelihood of a pierced gut through a raw chicken bone is far outweighed by the possibility of getting a fencepost through the chest or a collision with a barbed wire fence Lurcher work can be dangerous,.each run could well be the dog's last... As others have said,....it would be easy to 'tear apart' this guys theories,...but I don't think we need to. All the best to ALL crosses,...CHALKWARREN.... Rainmaker 7
:11: Now, here's a FIFTY PAGE, scientifically referenced peer-reviewed rebuttal to that pile of crap pedalled by Second Chance Ranch! http://rawfed.com/myths/rebuttal.html Five pages on the web, yes. Try printing it out! LOL Excellent rebuttal, I need say no more. EDIT: BTW Nipper, enjoying the debate of course, but it WOULD be easier to see and answer your posts if they went in the Working Dog Health & Training section instead of getting buried in Running Dogs & Hounds. Not having a running dog myself any more, I only come across posts like these by chance. Cheers Edited September 30, 2006 by RainmakerKennels Quote Link to post
