I know a couple of lads that tried the pures but gave up with them and got back into the saluki lurchers again. i recently bought a pup from a lad a saluki grey x bull grey he owned the sire and its brother they were genuine first x saluki grey, to me they looked more like greyhounds being smooth haired and well built he told me both were good allrounders but one was more suited to daytime catching hare regular where the other was more suited to lamping and being better on fox they both done the lot but were each better at certain things i suppose its more the dog as u never get two dogs the same from a litter Quote Link to post
Guest Daks
as terrier says you'l not go far wrong with this x as long as your patient patient and oh patient abit more lol i had one he was a belter would take everything and anything game as feck when you were out but take him to meet a new person who was big built and he'd roll on his back and piss everywhere whilst yelping and screaming (i rescued him at 4 month so i presume the lad who beat hm was a big guy!) really embarrasing at dog shows in the summer!!!! i met a bloke called bob lloyd who knows his shit about lurchers and he gave me some great advice about training him worked a treat and i never looked back. My dog was 10yr old when i had to have him pts poor fella his last catch was a huge roe, hope all goes well for you when you get your dog just remember what the other posts say too if its feathered it more than likly isnt a first x, keep us posted..... atvb daks here he is Quote Link to post

It could possibly be two saluki hybreds even with another breed in them.I am going on a pup my mate bred out of the then well known coursing dog rambo grey/saluki x grey/pit bull to his pure saluki bitch and the dog he kept was very featherd up.atb dell Quote Link to post
