I can see both sides of the coin, Different circumstances for different people.

DLA = disability living allowance. My mate's bird used to get it and I told the silly cow needed to get a life and job. She got a job and the benefit carried on Both my parents have disabilities and both worked all their days, paid their mortgage, into a pension etc. Do they get a break from the gov no they have have to pay the same council tax etc as everyone else. They don't get much help, I think they get motability and that's it. How can this government justify keeping this lazy bitch in fags and booze with 2 and a half bags of sand a month

 

fuuck it The next time my mrs gets pregnant I'm going to encourage her to drink and smoke heavily then feed her wizz see if I can't destroy my unborn babies life by making it "Disabled" or give it "ADHD" and get the benefits that go with it.

Listen pal I ain't gonna argue think it's pretty obvious I was being Dry. As for the DLA the amount is based on individual circumstances and no you do not automatically get it if you receive motorbility otherwise they'd get it wouldn't they.

My mother has been bad with her legs for well over 25 years, but still worked, now she is really bad, and only just recently gets what she deserves, as was too proud, 4 ops later.

How much do you get?

 

Disability Living Allowance has two parts called 'components':

 

* a care component - if you need help looking after yourself or supervision to keep you safe

* a mobility component - if you can't walk or need help getting around

 

Some people will be entitled to receive just one component; others may get both.

 

The care component and mobility component are paid at different rates depending on how your disability affects you.

Nobody is worried about genuine people on benefits when they are a bit down on there luck or sick.What fucks us off is the tens of thounds of feckless scrounging layabouts who choose it as a life style, living off the backs of decent hard working people.

We all know people who have f**k all wrong with them getting disability for bad backs, depression, alcoholism and drug addicts.

That along with slags pumping out kids to get more cash.

I know a guy of 55 who has worked since he was 16 with one firm, drives a mobility buggy, drags his legs around on crutches.

What have you paid into the system over your working life? You've paid got knows how much into 'the system', not just income tax, fags, beer, petrol, clothes, shoes, food, etc, it's all taxable, and your morals would stop you asking for some of it back in a time of need??
