lure coursing

Hopfully this is in the right place.

 

Does anyone know of a club/group etc that does lure coursing? We are based in kent.

 

I know SACS do event days which inlude lure racing, but are there any other places that do this?

 

Or any other sugestions of what other doggy activites there are locally?

 

Looking for something to do with the lurchers to give them something else to do than our normal outings.

Have a look at the British Sighthound Field Association website @ www.lurecoursing.org.uk

We run our Deerhounds and there are lots of other sighthounds.

Not sure about lurchers, I do know they can run but not sure about competition

ACES activity days, roughly once a month near Gatwick, they post details in the "Events" section on here.

 

Sussex Longdogs race twice a month from March to November.

 

There is Sutton Valence Lurcher Club near Maidstone too but not been there.
