Hannah4181 260
I always feed mine whole rabbits, fur, heads, guts the lot, and preferably still warm! Id try the pup with it as it is, if he's not interested then maybe take the skin off so he can get straight to the flesh.
birkychrissy 3
thanks for the help will be trying him with it tommorrow
Hollie 21
I always thought they should eat the fur as it aids the digestion, just as they would if they were in the wild, dont 'spose it matters though He will not choke on bones, dogs are designed to eat meat and bones (just not cooked ones!!) Stuart O Connor 1
I prefer to skin and gut them then freeze then for 3 weeks defrost and feed ! Anyone do this aswell ?
lawrence 657
i feed them whole, the way nature intended. i do freeze them first usually, but if i'm stuck i'll feed them fresh, with drontal being a pound a touch, worms ain't much to worry about. during the freeze the bedlington and ferrets were even fed eskimo style with half frozen rabbits with no bother at all.
