andy mecca 5
allright teapot if you've got your hazel already then set your net out and attach a pole at the very end feed the last mesh on to your stick and tie a clove hitch with the top and bottom running line at the top and bottom of your stick allowing for 4 or 5 inches from the spike of your stick and the top.pull in enough kill slack or bagging whatever you want to call it then attach another stick just using the aforementioned clove hitch some people say between 5 and 7 yards i normally set it up then adjust the sticks after i've had a look at it hope this helps ATB ANDY Quote Link to post

para1 11
http://www.magnumtrap.com/longnet-instructions.html a 100 yard long net requires 13 poles maybe if ur only ferreting footbal pitches Ha Ha Just seen this.To set a QUICKSET mate you'll need 21 poles for a 100 yrds and maybe some loose ones depending on the ground.(to make a good job of it) Golf flag poles are ideal for posts you can get 3 out of each pole 24ins,they are white but the rabbits don't mind. 50yds 11 poles.25yds 6 poles.Pm if you want any more info P1.
