English Setter x Brittany Spaniel

Recommended Posts

Black and white with small amount of rusty brown spots, quite a small and slender bitch.

Both mum and dad of the pup are cracking workers, my dad brought this dog originally to work below his birds but because of his muscle disease's unpredictability he cannot commit fully to her and wishes to find her a more committed working home.

She has cracking obedience, sits, stays, retrieves to hand, dad has been slacking with her because of his health and so she can be a bit rusty at times but is a very loyal bitch. She is showing some great potential with her nose, not yet pointing but I don't think it will be long. She will get in cover but uses her head out in the field.

She is great with other dogs as we have a few, she is completely bird safe and great with kids.

Dad is asking £200 for her, feel free to ring him on 07963 012766. I wouldn't bother pming me as I'm not always on here.

Here's a few pics...

it might help to say how big she is, where you are and whether she is sound to the gun.

good luck with the sale and i hope she finds a good home.

At the moment she stands about 12/14 inches.

We're nr. High Wycombe, Bucks.

She hasn't experienced guns close up but has been near-by to shoots.

Has she worked with hawks ? ,will she mark and flush, looks a lot bigger than 12-14". regards mark, liams dad.

Which Liam?

She's been out alongside other Pointers whilst out longwinging, whilst the birds have been on kills she has been perfectly fine with them, sniffing the dead quarry but not touching, she is wary of the hawks/falcons and so will not get too close.

She's not yet marking or flushing, she is only young but it will come with time, she is still maturing.

She is probably taller yes, i'm rubbish with heights lol

Thanks, she is cracking dog, it's just not fair that she's not getting the time she needs, with a little guidance she will make someone a superb working dog.

Yes sorry, she is closer to 18 inches and has still got some growing to do!
