gnasher16 30,121 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 What a day if your a West Ham fan.........i dont normally drink but i,ll be lifting a few glasses to David Sullivan and Gold tonight.....what a great story 2 genuine West Ham fans saving the club from the brink......its full steam ahead now.....only a matter of time before Joe Cole comes back and premier league footie next year is in the bag now thanks to an east end boy done good.......David Gold i love you !! gnasher16 30,121 Posted January 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 do you think it will stop them going down then I do as a matter of fact....its hard to believe in todays times but West Ham are a very traditional club with old school values...when we sold out to the icelandics we sold out on our traditions as well.....im no fan of Zola and the signings he,s made as are the majority of the lifelong hammers fans but he had no backing.....intensity and atmosphere has always been a major factor here and thats been lost....Sullivan and Gold know the importance of this and they know what hammers fans want...because thats what they are !....i believe that will give the whole club the lift it needs. Goodisons always a fixture i look forward to( april i think it is )....such a great atmosphere in there and real close to the pitch.....same as west ham Ive great memories as a younger chap walking from lime street to the ground......and getting chased back again afterwards ....they were funny old days looking back..... We,ll be bringing 3000 up again this year with a bit of luck,hopefully we,ll still be in with a shout of staying up. All the best lads.
