air gunner 0
right i have the technical wonder that is chairgun now i just need to know how to use it effectivly. so firstly how do i know the power of the gun? if i get it chronoed with one type of pellet then all other pellets will have a different power. secondly how do i know my scope height? what is BC and how do i calculate it with my BSA supersport? (i do not own a chrono and get the gun shop to) and any other info i need to use this succesfully. thanks guys Quote Link to post
mushroom 12,918
Forget about BC (Balistic coeficient) the chrono will tell you the power of the gun with that pellet that's right. But if your using those pellets then that's the power of your gun using that pellet. So just put that data into chairgun and it'll give you your readings. Quote Link to post
air gunner 0
phew! i did not want to worry about BC thanks! part of the reason i will be using chairgun is to determine each pellets path etc so would it be wise to get the gun chronoed with each pellet i am likely to want to use? apart from the fact i dont want to buy a load of pellets im not going to use. also what about scope height?
