The police were waiting for me recently when I came back to my van after walking my dogs - middle of the day on public land with no game in sight, we were having a walk in the park! He just sat in the police van watching me load the dogs back into my vehicle so I went over and asked if there was a problem. It's fun to see a police officer look flustered

We had two incidents last year at the same spot while ferreting.

First was a Loony woman with a dancing collie dog who came and stood right next to us while ferrets were down,we put our dogs on their leads as the collie was nipping at them.I asked her to control her dog,she said she was ringing the police as she new we were Hare coursing and that she was reporting us for threatening her and her dog.The police came and two young coppers came,who also didnt know the difference between a Rabbit and a Hare either.The landowner had by this time made his way over,explained to the police what was going on and told the mental woman to leave his land.All calmed down then 15 minuted later crazy women appeared again with her husband,they stayed in the car and filmed us from the roadside.

 

Second incident at same place was a woman walking a boxer dog who stood there either recording or taking pics on her mobile phone.

I asked her why she was watching us/taking pics.Her answer was im taking pictures of the trees in the field behind you for a council survey.

I said what! on your mobile phone.

Pathetic do gooders that dont know what they are looking at, or what they are looking for.
