stubby 175
Id say.... slowly think some dogs do, and some dont we had a 2yr old plummer, wanted to eat them, but was scared of rats yet our 11yr old JRT that had never seen a fert till 3yrs ago, treats them with respect, plays with them, but is a killer on the rats go figure Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
IT COULD BE A LONG ROAD from my experience which isnt much the easiest way is from a very young pup my terrier is 17 months old and only just introduced to ferrets he to wants to snap there necks, yet we have a tortoise he has been with all his life , hes hibernating at the moment my dog even tolerates it biting him on his feet. patience i take my dog down the shed every day to see the ferrets it can be done i know a bloke with two plummers which were not broke to ferrets they are now even share food together but a long road he said Edited January 19, 2010 by Jamie m Quote Link to post

stevethefish 80
Leave your ferret in the box on the lawn and when your terrier sticks its tongue through the ventilation holes and gets grabbed by the ferret and drags the box around the garden thats the time they get broke into ferrets. It happened to my 9 month old patt and she keeps well clear of the ferrets now. Having a few holes and a rip in her tongue for a week or so sure does the trick. Quote Link to post
