finaly got out

first time out for 5 weeks ,up to now this season been the worst ive ever had,first the mixy does the thick of the rabbits.then the snow,we had one spot left to do ,where we normaly get 20 to 30 bunnys each go ,goes up to check it out dig outs all over the place,we had been poached.had a word with the farmer he said he chased three lads the day before,so that was that job f#cked.any back to the tale got a phone call of my mate,peg and gun of here asking if me and the lads, fancied a day ferreting on one of spots,to right i said going mad doing nowt. so of we went dogs marked first set,ferrets in 5 mins then rabbit jumps out net snagged and away it went.second set no one home ,we run the terriers through the thicket but nothing obout. third set dogs mark up nets on ferret in 15 mins nothing,box out get a mark 3 foot a hard dig in clay first rabbit in bag,then anoyher shot out and away with the dogs after it,came back without it.dogs mark 2 sets together nets on ferrets in 1 rabbit out of top set ,5 foot dig at bottom set ,broke through ferret came of and the rabbit got away.with rabbits thin on the ground,peg said we should try around a old derelict farm as there were some old sets he knew,got there dogs marked a pile of rubble netted up ferrets in,while waiti ng terrier going mad in another pile of rubbish,moved a few bits dog forced itself under a little gap a rabbit squealed and the dog pulled it out by its toes,quickly dispached another bolted out the other pile,5mins later another,then ferets show.moved on 2 more sets finished up with 9 ,not a big bag but a good day allain all .sorry no pics ,
