my bitch is running now only just though 3 outings and 7 rabbits. takeing it real easy with her. She seems to be ready in her mind. only another month left realy to the season so she can rest all summer and we will crack on again next season

in general do the deerhound xs take abit of time to mature, ?? not that it matters minds, worth the wait if they come good, ive just heard mixed opinions on the matter,

He has massive growth plates on him It will take him some time to grow into them fully, my opinion is that you are right to hold him back

18 monts torun them saw plenty deerhound types coyote hounds by 18 months well on there way,yet to see good derhound types for years for filling the pot ,was at afew shows this summer looking lucky if i saw half adozen that had the builr to do whats they were bred for ,your pup is nice andsd afreind has anice one but not saw many thta you would take home ,mates had themand took an age to turn tite on fast qaury maybe youll be luckywith yours be nice seeing agood pair on amoor doing what they were bred for , saw them in the sttesgetting coyotes and the jack rabbit some were very good ,hope you pup does well
