new to the sport got to whippets bought the book treat them like heroes dave harcombe really enjoyed it so far. he mentions these lines in the book how much are the will be the pups im no time waster and really intrested pleae can you reply one way or other

To the lad thats got the 2 whippets and read dave harcombes book .do not listen to what this bree and spookie charcter tell you the mating has not took place and most likley will not they are full of crap ,young and havent got a clue idiots and more than likley puppy peddlars who have read to many terrier books with alot of names in them while they have been sat on the toilet they are a joke and the laughing stock of this site and forum so please dont get yourself mixed up with the likes of them if you are after a decent pup from good working stock ask about the right people and ask the right questions and only get a pup if you are genuinely interested in the game and its not a passing fancy.

well here i find a typical answer for a hunting forum member,

pre ban many lad had good dogs,they no need to hang around at the local show in groups telling people how good there dogs where,

they hunted on there own and sometimes with 1 other reliable source,this be earth work and lurcher work,

men used to beleave a bitch deserves 1 litter especally if shes tried and tested.....

sometimes he would only want 1 pup and there could be anywhere upto 12 pups in the litter,

ok yes them days some would see the bucket but why when they could of been sold as the sport was a true working mans sport and money always came hard to such like.

sooo my theory to this, is yes some times good pups well very good pups come onto the market and iam not having a go here at anyone but please come on fellas wake up,

but would i buy these of this fella no way all iam saying good pups do come around right place right time comes to mind.

Michael you are wrong.(is this the same michael who is police? talking about pre ban? what ban, decent dogs are still around)

From my experience people with good terriers find homes for pups within a close group of friends. Anyone who comes on a hunting forum ranting and raving about their dogs then offers a litter of pups MUST have problems shifting them by other means. People who see working dogs for what they are, dont assosciate them with money.
