bleachtastesnice 4
Aye thats what i want to know, meat every day? Cooked, raw, varied? Quote Link to post
moonlighter 1,164
mine get plenty of raw meat and veg.. i try and feed them as soon after a run as i can, as i find it aids recovery a bit. for example if they have had a hard morning and im home for noon then i would feed them then rather than wait till nighttime. i heard that raw eggs are no good for a dog though, it just passes through them and they gain little from it, better off cooked. wardy.s.s. 3
Breakfast, mine gets 2 wheatabix each with milk or cornflakes. Dinner/tea red mills greyhound racer 27% weighed out according to weight of dog soaked in hot water until cool and a cod liver oil tablet to keep their joints flexible and coat in good condition. It works for me my dogs a fit n healthy. Quote Link to post
wardy.s.s. 3
Aye thats what i want to know, meat every day? Cooked, raw, varied? you can give them meat everyday aslong as its not to much, so you dont give them protein poising. balance the meat out with pleanty cooked veg, raw meat tends to give them worms more than cooked meat. atb Quote Link to post

Goose Dog 2
I give mine beta greyhound with cooked beef mince and the odd rabbit when I can get them Quote Link to post
surrey lass 12
i fed mine on chudley's racer witheither cooked or raw meat, pasta and veg a small meal a couple of hours before running, i personally wouldn't feed straight after running as they can be sick, but plenty of electrolite drinks during running do what you think is best for your dog some only need one meal a day while others need that bit extra Quote Link to post
