Im looking to set up a website to hopefully enhance and promote my business a little more. To be perfectly honest i havent the foggiest on where to start, but rather than get conned into having one done by these cold calling firms, that pester me almost daily, for them to do it for free!!!(for free, i dont think so)

I will have a go myself or die through frustration trying.

 

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatfully received, regarding building a site and name/domain addresses etc,etc. Trusted sites only please. Im not into giving out my credit card details over the net, cluelessly.

i made mine on vistaprint i pay £8 a month. i spent an afternoon making it and i know feck all about computers, the good thing is i can change it when ever i want and it is bring money in as well

I use microsoft office live , for my rugby teams site its free and ive had no problems so far . Bit basic maybe.Have a look here http://brfc11.sports.officelive.com/default.aspx . I know a lot of people dont like using microsoft though .

We use Moonfriut - if you know how to use a computer you can work this progame talks you through step by step. Tried others but this is def the best.

i use yola for mine...free, plenty of templates etc...
