scottyboyish 14
My 8 yr old daughter wants to come ferreting with me and my Lurcher, so I'm taking her with me this Sunday. Anyone else take their kids hunting? If so do they enjoy it? Edited January 19, 2010 by scottyboyish Quote Link to post

furdy 0
My little girls come ferreting and out bushing with terrier and lurchers. They come shooting sometimes and follow the local beagle pack. They are 6 and 4...... As long as you dont force them, they will do it if they want to. Quote Link to post

hedz31 1,308
My 9 year old has been coming with me for 1 or 2 years now, he really enjoys it and is full of questions and retains the information really well, he knows what to look for with runs and dropings and can name most animals we come across, its good for them to get out and enjoy the countryside and good exercise for them i would rather my lad was with me than sat on video games from the moment he gets back from school.
