Police inspetion,gun cabinet.

Hello everyone,Just waiting for a police officer to call around to inspect my new gun cabinet.

What questions will he ask?

if he is coming round to inspect your cabinet,am i right to presume you have all ready been given the go ahead for your licence,if so he will just want to see that it is secured to an internal wall out of sight of casual visitors

My one normally gives them a good tug to see if there fixed properly that and a glass of whiskey a good old chat and he's gone!

my last inspection consisted of a quick pull on then checked my guns serial numbers then spent the next 45 minutes telling me about whe cabinate he then he used to go ratting ect?

He didn't ask that one, but thanks for the heads up. ALl he did was write down where the cabinet is kept and the guns inside + the serial numbers and he was off, no longer than 5 mins.

I opened mine so he could have a look inside, then we both walked into the next room while we sorted the license out, at which time he took great pleasure in pointing out that i had left it open unattended.

I felt like a right t**t !
