mossyh07 64
What you gonna use it for? Quote Link to post
possumtrapper 46
Personally, I'd go for the beddy/whippet, due to the fact that with a loss of a wee bit of speed from the straight whippet, you gain a dog with a far superior nose, intelligence to train, a thick skin (great if you go near barbed-wire) and a good weather-proof coat, much better feet than the straight whippet and a bit of terrier grit to boot. What more could you ask for? Quote Link to post
steveS.Yorks 161
Beter still get a beddy x whippet/grey or a beddy x grey, still not big dogs[guessing you want a small one]my lads bitch is just shy of 22" tts[beddy/grey x whippet] If i had to choose between a whippet or beddy x whip,i would go for the x,but would prefer some grey in the mix,not just for size, they tend to be a bit more obediant/tractable. No offence to the beddy x whippet intended, but they can be very stubborn imo. Quote Link to post
cumbrian-whippet 1
I would also say beddy x whippet just for the coat and feet, my whippet is very obedient and has a good nose but she does suffer in the cold especially if its raining Quote Link to post
