Aaron Proffitt 142
I love to share hunts with you and read about how you guys hunt in the UK. Plus, you guys have a cracking sense of humor. I may not know all the lingo, but it doesn't detract in the least. That being said, between you guys here and one other site; I am able to learn a hell of alot about how to use terriers . It's a veritable library of terrier hunting. Gundogs, hounds,staghounds....these I know. But terriers are going to be added to my arsenal upon my return from overseas. And I can't wait. Regardless, I have gained a new respect for not only my hunting brethern in the UK; but also for other areas of Europe. Fukc the Ban !!!!
cúagusgiorraí 57
As I told a friend recently; "I wouldn't have met you and loads of other friends if it weren't for THL. Just have the craic and dont take THL too seriously" Edited January 21, 2010 by cúagusgiorraà
dogs-n-natives 1,182
Like many others, ive met loads of like minded people through this site. There are always some good reads to find, with excellent pictures. Id like to think ive helped one or two less experienced than myself, and likewise, ive recieved good help and advice when ive needed it. At the end of the day, id rather sit on THL than sit in front of the telly watching crap anyday! Im very grateful to Ian B for creating the site, and long may it continue. regards DnN
stealthy1 3,964
I like the humor, and also the folk that are genuinely in love with the sport, for the sport, and not because they think it makes them hard, I had my first year for free, so to put something back I'm a donator this year, long live THL, cheaper than a TV licence, and probably more entertaining
unlacedgecko 1,467
Ive met some good like minded people. I have learnt lots of things (snared first rabbit, sqeaked in first fox) from meeting these people and from reading all the posts. i found the rife and shotgun forum invaluable when i was applying for FAC/SGC and very helpful when choosing weapons as well. there are some hugely entertaining posts, i really enjoy all the piss taking as well. i have also bought a dog and an air rifle through the site. no complaints about either.
