Hello everyone im new to forums so please be gentle. Im looking on getting a patterdale pup soon and would like some advise as i have never owned one before.Worked with dogs before,falcons,ferrets and shooting etc and have read loads about patterdales.Also i heard that bitches usually better is this sometimes the case many thanks

it just depends on what you are goin to use the patterdale for i have a patterdale x russell and she is the best ferriting dog i have owned she marks the burrows,cover is no problem and has the heart of a lion hope ive helped pal

Thats exactly what i want one for also rats now and again and also have a harris hawk which works wells with the ferrets,thanks for the reply

my patt bitch is a cracking little dog if she marks you know theres somthing at home and is good on the rats to.
