The Caretaker 0
I have recently purchased a new jacket, I first saw it when Rabbitstalker (a chap who has made a couple of stock for my rifles) came to visit the "Deerhunter Montana" i have had various other jackets and i'm not putting them down in any way but, (and theres always a BUT) they have all seemed to miss something. well i've been looking on various sites and didn't really fancy buying one second hand, so i ended up on Ebay, and there are lots of people selling this style of jacket but then i found "Montrose Gun & Tackle" selling them for £99 i have seen them for sale for anything upto £179 so the thing is are they worth it IMHO very much YES! I bought the trousers to the jacket about a year ago and they have been excellent in keeping any wind away from your legs and when kneeling down to take shots they have kept my knees dry, plus the fact they have a high back area to the waist band which is something that when you get to my age you will think is brilliant! i hate bending to pick up quarry and exposing my back to the elements! so i have found that a very good thing, and then to compliment the high waist band on the trousers the jacket has a low back panel to it so you covered both ways which is really good anyway i have made a brief video-review. I know this is a very subjective review, mainly because i love, this jacket i'm sure that there is someone out there who can put the other side i hope you enjoy Quote Link to post
