sibaldib 6
Yes Sib pal, This is not the first time I have heard of people on the BBS selling faulty rifles under false intents, if this turns out to be the case buddy. Someone that I shoot with was also sold a faulty rifle in the past and was pretty un happy to say the least. Si The other thing the guy didn't tell me is that it didn't have a safety. It doesn't bother me that much as I never cock any rifle until about to fire and never rely on the safety. However I feel he should have told me. When I questioned it, he said it was in a small pouch in the bag. On looking at it, it's obvious that the small grubscrew and ball bearing are also misssing. In contrast, the S400 I bought with Rowan magazine, off the same forum, was exactly as described even down to the slight mark on the stock. Caveat Emptor, as they say. Cheers Sib Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Good to see that you have it sorted Sib pal. I think with what you have said that it is a problem with the thread on the rifle if it has one to attach the silencer or the barrel sleeve not being fully true to the centre of the bore mate. If you still have problems with it. i know a man that worked for Ripley Rifles for 21 years and now just potters about fixing lads rifles as a hobby now days. He also customises rifles himself and has even designed his own PCP's. He claims that he will build anyone a gun on their own designs, only buying in the Anshutz barrels for pure accuracy. He is a brilliant gun smith, but lives in the Midlands. If you want i can get it fixed for you at a good rate pal. Just give me a PM if you need any help buddy.
