jonnygray 139
hey guys a friend of mine has a golden retriever who is 7 years old, has always been a pet and lives indoors, recently she is needing to go toilet more and more, cant wait and if in the house for periods of more than an hour or so will soil in the kitchen, she is walked at least once a day and is on a gluten free diet as a while ago colitis was suspected. she is also now through the night needing to be let out at least twice at ungodly hours for toilet and my friend is at the end of her tether. the vets idea is to buy there super diet food suprise suprise at £30 a sack! other than this the dog is healthy and good within herself! any ideas or advice would be very welcome. cheers jonny

steveS.Yorks 161
This is a long shot mate but the first thing i would do is feed the dog the skins from roasted whole potatoes [not the potato itself] A mate has bowel problems with similar symptoms to your friends dog and a nurse told him to try this, its helped him no end, cant hurt anything to try?
