-=Magwitch=- 29
It was hard work getting out of bed this morning, the wind was blowing and rain was threatening but we made the effort to get out anyway. On arriving at the farm we could see a number of rabbits above ground and due to the amount of rain and melting snow we gathered the buries were waterlogged. I decide to give the pheasant holding pen a try as its on a steep bank and the top holes were dry but this proved to be a nightmare, nothing wanted to bolt and the soil on this particular farm is clay which is very hard going at the best of times and after two digs we decide to go back to the motor have a flask of soup and a rethink. Well after the rain had stopped we gave it one more go on a little bury at the top of the bank and then headed for home...............................6 hard earned rabbits. The real heroes................ Edited January 16, 2010 by -=Magwitch=- Quote Link to post
