downsouth 7,151 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 Was at my local hunt kennels last week with my mate whos the huntsman there and noticed a big bottle of this in the feed room.When i asked him about it he said he uses it to worm the hounds.Can anybody tell me if this is effective against worms in dogs. Annmarie09 5 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 It won't be licensed for use in dogs so if anything goes wrong you have no comeback against the company who makes it. I have agreed to a product licensed for use in cattle to cure earmites in my cats before, but only on the advice of a vet. I wouldn't take the chance otherwise just to save a couple of quid. Obviously the kennels with loads of hounds are making a considerable saving, but do you have enough dogs to make it worth it? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
