Iv got a collie greyhound bitch she is 5years old and she is just cuming in to season. I was thinking of putting over 3/4greyhound 1/4bull or wheaton greyhound. She is half cross collie greyhound.

I think you should be asking yourself what does your Bitch lack in the field and choose the Sire accordingly

Exactly! Always room for improvement, unless you have the perfect bitch that's perfect on everything, you would then of course need to find the perfect dog to line it with.

Thats the logical yardstick,imo,if it lacks a bit of speed ? Maybe a predominantly grey or Whippet.Stamina? More saluki blood. The other factor is where and what do you run?

The bitch is good at lamping ferreting and fast as you like. Im just after a good allrounder of her if you now what i mean She is the best dog i have owned and i want a pup out of her. I like both the wheaten and the bull greyhound.

By adding bull or wheaten u must think that ur bitch is lackin a bit of game/prey drive.. cos thats really all it wud add! But u need to ask yourself what u need to add to your litter AND what quarry its required for.. If its ur intention to add gameness id go for 3/4 hound 1/4 bull there some magnificent animals but really go for a dog of good mind and smartness, you'l need to know the sire or work with it to know this. But good luck findin a sire for ur pups!
