hedz31 1,308
theres alot of crosses that would do this job fairly well to be honest i do know that if you intend to run hares regular a good sighthound portion in the make up would be good i wouldnt go for no less than 3/4 greyhound in the mix for a lurcher if hares are on the cards my friend has a 3/4greyhound 1/4 collie x 3/4 greyhound 1/4 saluki shes about 24" tts and she is a very handy bitch on rabbit and hare day and night and i am told other dogs from the same litter are doing well on rabbit and hare hope this helps good luck with future hunting Quote Link to post

sambam 8
even a working whippet would be up to the job if size is an issue Quote Link to post
mossyh07 64
Was thinking bout a full whippet but i dont want something that will be broke up half the time.. If i can find a decent litter of collie/whippet/hound pups i think thats what ill go for.. Quote Link to post
