MK3M

Recommended Posts

Cos they are tosh, mine has been a pain since day one. Put it on search, get a load of beeps, then onto locate and it makes a fart noise and goes off.

I can only use it on search. Can't wait for someone else to do one of these instead of Deben

My MK3m is bang on every time, been out today and it pin pointed down to six inches, I pushed the soil through to the stopend with my hand and the ferret was sat there with a rabbits leg in its mouth :D

I'm going to get an MK1 instead.

I find My MK3m to be better than the MK1 I had, are you turning the locate knob anti clockwise all the way to the stop when you touch the ground with it when in locate mode, because mine is bang on every time.

It was the battery in the collar. It has put me off a bit even though it was the battery because I had pretty much persuaded myself to get an MK1 before I sorted the prob and I spose I still want one lol. I've seen one befor and found them to be very good IMO.

If it was the batteries the locator came with, then mine were the same and let me down while the ferrets were under, thats why I buy quality batteries now, you get what you pay for ;)

Hi I have an mk3m and when I locate the ferret it tells me that the ferret is usualy about 5-6ft when it's only 3ft. I rang deben up but I've lost my receipt. Any ideas what I could do? Thanks

allways halve whatever depth its telling you

use a probe as you dig

dont dig as fast in case you chop a fert in half

silly question i know but what is a probe good for as i know what they are but never used 1,is it just for finding the depth

you can use probe if you think you have missed hole, which happens sometimes :whistling: just poke about in the sides of the hole youve dug until you feel it go into burrow.never go without one myself.
